The PuroMartinez Story
“Once upon a time, in the land of our forefathers, we learned to heal ourselves.”
These words echoed in the heart of Angel Zuniga Martinez III as he sat beneath the vast, starlit sky of Terlingua, Tejas, the crisp winter air carrying whispers of the past. In the shadows of the Chisos Mountains, where the desert meets the sky, Angel welcomed 2024 on a journey of healing—spiritual, mental, and physical—for himself and his family. Angel hit a wall – high blood pressure, pre diabetic, and overweight.
Was it a guardian angel speaking? The voice of his great-great-grandfather, Antonio, who once crafted his own healing salves in the early 1900s? Or was it the Martinez warrior spirit, rising with the wind, calling him to remember the wisdom of his ancestors?
In the stillness, the silence, the sacred pause—faith reawakened. A mission was born.
