I’ve crossed paths with many people, some in very meaningful ways — a friend, family member, or someone with whom I’ve shared an honest conversation about life.
Meditation, as simple as it sounds, is one of the hardest things to truly integrate into our modern lives. Yet it’s also one of the most transformative.
At its core, meditation is a spiritual dialogue with yourself. There’s no single “right” method that fits everyone. Over time, I’ve explored different approaches that have evolved as I’ve grown and learned.
What I can say for certain is this:
I am at peace.
Even amidst life’s turbulence, I’ve learned to stay grounded — to let the outer world move as it will, without disturbing my inner one.
The Science Behind the Stillness
Our brains spend most of their time in Beta frequency — the mode of thinking, reacting, and doing. Meditation helps shift us into other frequencies that bring healing, clarity, and creativity:
- Alpha: The calm and creative state where healing begins and insight flows.
- Theta: A deeper level of consciousness where we can reprogram old beliefs and emotional patterns — many formed in childhood.
Meditation is the doorway into these states. It’s normal to feel resistance or skepticism at first. It’s invisible and intangible — yet it’s also an ancient practice over 3,000 years old, deeply woven into human nature.
Books & Audio Resources That Guided My Journey
I’ve compiled a selection of books and audio programs that have resonated with me — each one offering a unique perspective on mindfulness, healing, and transformation.
Getting Started — Gentle Introductions
10% Happier by Dan Harris
A relatable and humorous story about doubt, resistance, and the gradual process of embracing meditation. Perfect if you’re curious or skeptical — a great reminder that anyone can start, no matter where they are.
Morning Routines and Practical Systems
The 6 Phase Meditation Method by Vishen Lakhiani
The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod
If you’re ready to bring structure and purpose to your mornings, these books offer clear routines that integrate meditation with intention and gratitude.
Releasing and Emotional Healing
The Sedona Method
One of my favorites for healing. It helps increase self-awareness and release emotional pressure — especially if you’re dealing with trauma or high stress. It’s about letting go of what weighs you down so you can return to peace and freedom.
The Silva Method Collection
I’m currently exploring the Silva Method, a form of meditation that blends science and spirituality in a practical way. Here’s what’s in my current rotation:
- Silva Ultramind System by Andy Ferry – A practical, story-driven introduction.
- Silva Ultramind ESP System – Explains the mind’s scientific workings (no exercises, but insightful).
- The Original Silva Method & Silva Method Dynamics – The classic foundational works, more technical but profound.
- Silva Ultramind for Business – Still on my to-read list.
Still Exploring
Meditations for Mortals
I haven’t read this one yet — but it’s part of my ongoing journey if you’d like to explore alongside me.
A Message of Peace and Presence
I hope these resources help you heal, find balance, and quiet your recurring thoughts.
May they help you grow more centered, more present, and more at peace with the beautiful journey you’re on.
No matter what has happened in the past — things you’ve done, things done to you, or challenges you face now — remember: you are in charge of your present and your future.
Your perception shapes your world.
And we live in a truly blessed time to rediscover these truths.
I send you love, good energy, and peace.
Thank you for allowing me to share and for being part of this journey with me.
